I finished the girly top. I have to purchase the backing to finish it. She is going to be red minky fabric because this quilt is made to snuggle.
I really love this design. This is so quick to whip up. I can see a lot of these quilts in my future. And I do so love using girly fabric. Actually, most of the fabric I have in my stash is girly. I live in a family with three males (two sons and a husband). It makes sense to have more masculine fabric. But the girly stuff calls out to me.
I shipped out the original Smooth Sailing today. He is getting his picture taken. It was like sending a little piece of me in that box. Hope he smiles pretty!
He's so pretty - can't wait to see how the photos turn out. Love the pink - with the boys outnumbering me here, too, I keep picking up the girly stuff. I need to play with some minkee though - I bet it would be a hit with the Munchkin!
